Marketman is seeking a high-velocity Sales Development Representative to join their expanding sales organization in Philadelphia. This role executes a balanced 50/50 inbound and outbound motion, with responsibility for creating Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs) through fast qualification, disciplined follow-up, and consistent outbound activity.
Inbound Responsibilities (50%): Run fast, accurate qualification calls (5–8 minutes) for inbound leads, validating ICP fit, urgency, and buying intent before handoff to Account Executives. Maintain best-in-class follow-up with zero dropped leads and speed-to-call prioritization. Improve inbound conversion through clean handoffs and accurate lead qualification.
Outbound Responsibilities (50%): Build pipeline through daily high-volume, high-quality outreach targeting aged Marketing Captured Leads (30+ days old), retargeting fallouts, and curated prospect lists. Execute outbound sequences across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels. Generate net-new SAOs from accounts not previously engaged.
Execution & Process: Consistently hit daily (100+ dials), weekly, and monthly activity and SAO targets. Maintain tight CRM hygiene with accurate notes, next steps, and status updates. Follow Marketman's sales process with precision. Operate with a "make the phone ring" mentality rather than waiting passively.
Collaboration: Partner with AEs to ensure smooth handoffs and predictable pipeline flow. Work with Marketing on inbound lead flow optimization, retargeting strategies, and list development. Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and common objections.
Ideal Candidate: High urgency and activity orientation. Strong phone presence with confident, direct communication. Ability to follow process precisely while hitting high-volume metrics. Coachable, consistent self-starter comfortable running fast qualification calls. Quick learner with tool adoption ability. 0–3+ years SDR experience (junior or mid-level based on skill and drive). Passion for restaurant technology or industry interest is a plus.
Success Metrics: Daily/weekly/monthly activity metrics and SAOs generated, quality of pipeline created (ICP fit, show rate, AE acceptance), activity consistency with 100+ blended-channel dials, responsiveness and follow-up speed, CRM accuracy and process discipline.
