As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for enterprise buyers exploring Writer's platform. You'll work on the front lines of the enterprise AI revolution, engaging Fortune 500 companies across industries including retail, financial services, travel, and healthcare.
Key responsibilities:
- Build pipeline from ideal customer profile (ICP) accounts through thoughtful and creative outreach to target personas
- Research key accounts' initiatives to develop compelling value hypotheses
- Execute multi-touch, account-based campaigns in partnership with Marketing and Sales teams
- Set qualified meetings for the enterprise sales team
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes for greater efficiency
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records to scale successful approaches
You'll partner closely with enterprise account executives to break into named target accounts and develop deep fluency in enterprise AI. This role offers an accelerated path toward becoming a top-tier enterprise seller in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
The role is hybrid, based in San Francisco, Chicago, or New York City offices, reporting to the Manager of Sales Development.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a sales development role at a SaaS company
- Proven track record of exceeding outbound pipeline generation goals in a B2B SaaS startup environment
- Excellent written communication skills (critical for selling to enterprise buyers)
- Self-starter with an experimental mindset; ability to help build processes from scratch
