As a Sales Development Representative, you will be a crucial driver of new business growth for ModMed/Klara. Your primary responsibility is to generate qualified opportunities by identifying potential clients and turning leads into sales-ready prospects through both inbound and outbound channels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct outbound cold calls and develop email campaigns using social mediums like LinkedIn to educate prospects about ModMed's solutions
- Research target leads and personas, creating prospect analysis before handoff to Regional Sales Managers or Account Executives
- Follow up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities, providing appropriate information at the right time
- Maintain detailed documentation and lead management activity in Salesforce.com, SalesLoft/Outreach, and other tools
- Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives
- Develop relationships with prospects as the initial point of contact, working toward scheduling demonstrations
- Refine sales skills while learning about the healthcare industry and ModMed's product offerings to effectively communicate value propositions and overcome objections

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, pre-med, business, marketing, or related field (preferred)
- 1-2 years of previous professional experience in sales, marketing, communication, or related professions (highly preferred)
- Strong interest in healthcare and developing a career in sales
- Polished and engaging communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to overcome objections and think on your feet
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Flexible and adaptable with ability to receive and learn from feedback
- Exhibits grit: ability to stick with things until finished, even in face of adversity, and bounce back from failure
- Business acumen and customer orientation with proactive research of products and customer profiles
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
- Experience with CRM, EHR, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Outreach, Zoom Info, or G-Suite/Mac is a plus
