Salary: USD 75,000 - 80,000 / annual

As a Sales Development Representative, you will drive new customer acquisition through outbound prospecting. You'll conduct persistent outreach via phone and email to targeted prospects, communicate Canary's value proposition to decision makers, and qualify opportunities for the sales team. You'll manage a quota for qualified leads, leverage prospecting tools to research companies and identify key contacts, and collaborate closely with Account Executives to accelerate pipeline growth. You'll use Salesforce for lead and pipeline management, contribute to optimizing sales development processes, and participate in knowledge sharing and training.
Key responsibilities include conducting dials and email outreach, qualifying leads, researching companies and decision makers, collaborating with AEs on account closure, optimizing prospecting approaches, managing Salesforce records, and participating in team training and process improvements.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of work experience
- Prior experience in Sales, Expert Network, or Recruiting (preferred)
- Prior experience in hospitality or software (preferred but not required)
- Ability to adapt to new situations and eagerness to learn and contribute
- Experience qualifying leads
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Emotional strength and grit for dialing and SDR work
- Determination to exceed weekly goals with self-accountability
- Assertive, persistent, persuasive, and strong listening skills
- Confidence in building client relationships and overcoming objections/rejections over the phone
