As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for outreach to prospective clients to identify potential customers and schedule qualified discovery calls for the Account Executive team. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the Calgary office. Key responsibilities include: - Conduct cold outreach via calling, email, and social channels to generate awareness and interest in Avetta - Schedule initial discovery calls for Account Executives - Meet daily activity minimums of 80-100 activities (calls and emails combined) - Manage your own book of accounts and develop effective account management strategies - Become proficient with Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Chili Piper, and Gong - Provide constructive feedback to SDR Managers and Sales Enablement on role effectiveness and efficiency - Share best practices and collaborate with team members - Maintain a schedule aligned with assigned regional business hours - Attend sales conferences, events, training sessions, and other company-required travel You will support the Enterprise Account Executive team for both inbound and outbound communication, with success measured by scheduling a minimum of 10 introductory meetings per month, of which at least 6 must be qualified. Requirements: - Minimum 6 months of sales experience, ideally as an SDR working with Enterprise accounts - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - High degree of resilience and ability to bounce back from setbacks - Player mindset with drive to grow and develop - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn - Coachable attitude and ability to implement feedback - Ability to complete a minimum 8-hour in-office workday on office days
