Peec AI is an analytics platform for AI search that helps brands understand their visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews. The company is a Series A startup backed by 20VC and Singular, past $10M ARR, with 80+ employees across Berlin HQ and a New York office.
You will lead the Sales Development Representative (SDR) function across both EMEA (Berlin) and US (New York) regions. This is a hands-on management role where you own the qualified pipeline number for both regions, hire and ramp SDR talent, and build the outbound playbook from the ground up. You'll be directly involved in call reviews, sequence optimization, and daily coaching rather than managing from a distance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the qualified pipeline forecast across EMEA and US
- Hiring, onboarding, and ramping SDRs in both Berlin and New York with a structured ramp plan
- Coaching the team on cold calling, messaging, and objection handling through daily call reviews and live feedback
- Developing and refining the outbound playbook (targeting, sequencing, messaging) in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and GTM Engineering
- Setting activity and conversion targets with clear reporting to leadership
- Partnering with Account Executives on handoff quality and meeting-to-opportunity conversion rates
- Building a career path from SDR to Account Executive and developing talent internally
You'll work closely with the AE team, sit in on call reviews, and be deeply involved in the numbers and mechanics of outbound execution. The function is early-stage, so you'll have significant influence over how the SDR organization is built and scaled.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Direct experience leading an SDR or BDR team with accountability for a pipeline number
- Track record of team leadership with accountability for collective results, not just individual performance
- Strong background in outbound sales execution; ability to get on the phone and coach reps in real time
- Experience managing people across multiple locations or time zones
- Comfort building organizational structure from scratch and turning working processes into repeatable playbooks
- Strong analytical skills: manage activity and conversion rates, not just effort metrics
- Willingness to travel to the US as needed
BONUS:
- Experience standing up an SDR function from scratch or being the first SDR manager at a company
- Experience running outbound into both European and US markets
- Hands-on familiarity with outbound tools (Clay, Apollo, Lemlist, n8n)
- Background in SEO, content marketing, or digital analytics
