Tines is a Dublin and Boston-headquartered intelligent workflow platform that powers critical business processes for companies like Canva, Databricks, and Elastic. The platform combines AI, automation, and integration to help organizations achieve their highest-priority goals faster.
This Sales Compensation Analyst role is the operational backbone of Tines' go-to-market compensation engine. You will own the accurate, on-time execution of monthly and quarterly commission cycles and administer the compensation tooling that supports them. Working with high-level direction from your manager, you will independently execute compensation cycles while escalating genuinely ambiguous decisions. As Tines transitions toward consumption-based compensation plans, you will help administer these new plan types alongside existing structures.
Key responsibilities include: executing monthly and quarterly commission calculations in CaptivateIQ with accuracy and on schedule; maintaining plan setup, payee assignments, quotas, crediting rules, and hierarchy; managing data feeds between Salesforce and the ICM platform; serving as first-line support for commission queries and disputes with empathy and a customer mindset; maintaining quota, credit, and hierarchy data integrity; producing commission statements and supporting period close and accruals with Finance; and QA-ing calculations while documenting processes and flagging improvement opportunities.
You bring 3-5 years of sales compensation administration, sales operations, or RevOps experience in B2B SaaS. You have hands-on experience administering modern ICM tools (CaptivateIQ preferred; Xactly, Spiff, or similar acceptable), strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with a high bar for accuracy, familiarity with Salesforce reporting and CRM data, and sound judgment handling confidential compensation information. Success is measured by independently executing the comp cycle with established approaches, delivering high-quality documented output, and being responsive to payee needs.
