Salary: EUR 17,200 - 44,000 / annual
Deliveroo is seeking a Sales & Business Development Representative based in Varese to drive restaurant and shop partnerships across the region. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role reporting to the Sales Lead, focused on expanding Deliveroo's network of premium restaurant and retail partners in Italy.
Key responsibilities include mapping and prospecting new restaurants and shops in your region, understanding local market dynamics and identifying high-demand establishments. You will pitch Deliveroo's platform to restaurant owners and managers, demonstrating the technology and value proposition. The role involves supporting partners through the onboarding process, addressing concerns, and helping them overcome barriers to joining the platform. You'll communicate via physical visits, phone, email, and social media, and attend industry events and food meetups to build relationships.
The ideal candidate has proven sales experience and comfort with business development and prospecting. You should be confident communicating with partners and customers across multiple channels—face-to-face, phone, and email. Product demonstration skills and industry knowledge are essential; knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus. Negotiation skills and tenacity are required traits for success in this role.
Compensation is structured under the Italian National Collective Agreement (CCNL Commercio e Terziario) at Level 4. Total target compensation (OTE at 100% of objectives) is €35,200–€44,000 gross annually, with a base salary range of €17,200–€26,000. Starting pay is determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and market conditions. This position does not include equity or RSU grants.
