Salary: USD 127,500 - 140,000 / annual

As a Risk Manager reporting to the VP of Risk, you will be a key driver of growth by building profit-driven consumer underwriting strategies. You will work with complex data sources and machine learning to optimize credit risk, fraud risk, and other factors across the entire account lifecycle—from underwriting through portfolio management to collections. Key responsibilities include: - Monitor acquisition, portfolio, and collection performance metrics including consumer credit risk, fraud risk, lease terms, and channel performance - Integrate complex data sources (bureau data, alternative data, behavioral signals, macroeconomic indicators, internal portfolio data) to generate actionable insights - Conduct statistical and decision-tree analyses to identify root causes and business opportunities - Present findings to leadership and partner with technology teams to implement and validate strategies - Continuously monitor risk strategies to improve financial performance and customer/merchant experience You will need a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Business/Data Analytics, or similar) and 18+ months of experience building quantitative and statistical models in consumer financial lending or lease-to-own. Proficiency required in Python, R, and Excel for statistical analysis, pivot tables, and decision-tree modeling tools.
