Salary: USD 130,000 - 180,000 / annual
AnySignal is developing next-generation RF products and services for space and defense missions. The company is building a flexible, high-performance platform for advanced radio technologies.
As an RF Hardware Engineer, you will own the design, manufacture, test, and deployment of highly integrated RF devices for space customers. You'll work with a small team of software, hardware, and FPGA engineers, taking a full-stack approach to building robust space communications systems from initial design through vehicle integration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and owning RF products across PCB, box, and integration levels
- Conducting trades and analyses on new designs and questioning requirements
- Bringing up, troubleshooting, and qualifying new designs
- Collaborating with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to enable large-scale production
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years designing circuitry in RF bands across frontend and conversion chains
- End-to-end PCB design experience (schematic capture, layout, fabrication, assembly)
- Proficiency with design tools: Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, Altium Designer
- Strong understanding of RF metrics (S-parameters, P1dB, noise figure, channel power, EVM)
- Knowledge of RF cascades, link budgets, and noise analysis
- Experience with test instruments (oscilloscopes, power supplies, VNAs, spectrum analyzers)
- Familiarity with LNAs, power amplifiers, mixers, ADCs/DACs, PLLs, oscillators, filters
Desired skills include advanced Altium experience, radiation-susceptible component selection, experience with AD9361 and Xilinx RFSoC, PCB soldering/reworking, communications link modeling, antenna design/simulation, and DPD concepts.
Role requires U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency due to ITAR export control compliance.
