Canva is seeking a Reward Partner to join its Total Rewards team in Sydney. This role is central to Canva's mission of empowering the world to design, focusing on building and managing compensation and rewards programs that attract, recognize, and retain top talent.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning end-to-end project management of Canva's annual reward review and salary equity cycle, ensuring fair, timely, and seamless delivery across the organization.
- Partnering with business leaders and People Partners to provide strategic reward advice that aligns with business priorities and supports talent decisions.
- Designing, implementing, and continuously improving reward programs, policies, and frameworks that create consistent and scalable employee experiences.
- Applying market data and internal insights to evaluate roles, benchmark compensation, and make recommendations that balance competitiveness, fairness, and business needs.
- Supporting Talent Acquisition with equitable and market-informed offers for new hires and internal mobility opportunities.
- Collaborating across the People team to deliver well-communicated, operationally effective reward initiatives aligned with Canva's Total Rewards philosophy.
Canva's Reward team combines market insights, data analysis, and thoughtful program design to ensure the reward approach evolves with the business. The role requires strong stakeholder management, the ability to translate complex compensation data into clear narratives, and a proactive partnership mindset.
The Sydney campus is hybrid, offering flexibility to work remotely while collaborating in-person at Canva's thoughtfully designed Surry Hills office when it matters most.
Requirements:
- Experience in the tech sector or another fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Broad experience across compensation and Total Rewards, including job architecture, compensation review cycles, market benchmarking, and compensation governance.
- Proactive approach to partnering with business leaders, understanding their challenges, and providing education and support.
- Strong ability to help people understand reward programs and philosophy.
- Solid data analysis skills with the ability to turn insights into clear, compelling narratives.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder influence through collaboration and credibility.
