Justworks is a growing HR platform serving small business founders with payroll, benefits, HR, compliance, and global employment solutions. The Revenue Performance & Development Partner reports to the Sr. Manager of Revenue Readiness and is responsible for building the skills and capabilities of Justworks' Sales and Customer Success teams.
This role translates revenue strategy, sales methodology, operating expectations, and AI capabilities into practical development programs. You will design and deliver targeted skill-building initiatives for both frontline managers and individual contributors across the revenue organization.
Key responsibilities include:
**Frontline Manager Development**: Build programs that strengthen Sales and Customer Success managers as operators and coaches, covering forecasting discipline, pipeline management, deal inspection, sales methodology, coaching, performance management, and accountability.
**Sales Methodology & Commercial Skills**: Own the learning strategy and reinforcement of Justworks' sales methodology. Translate methodology into practical application—discovery, qualification, deal strategy, multi-threading, platform selling, negotiation, expansion, and close.
**Role-Based Development Programs**: Create ongoing development for revenue roles beyond onboarding. Partner with Revenue leaders to identify capability gaps and build programs that improve performance at different career stages.
**AI-Enabled Revenue Capability**: Embed AI into revenue team learning and performance. Develop personalized practice, call and deal coaching, simulations, reinforcement mechanisms, manager insights, and role-specific learning experiences integrated with GTM tools and workflows.
**Manager-Led Reinforcement**: Ensure development translates to field behavior through coaching guides, inspection frameworks, practice routines, certifications, and reinforcement mechanisms.
**External Partner Management**: Manage relationships with external development providers (Dale Carnegie, etc.), determine where external expertise adds value, and measure program effectiveness.
**Revenue Leadership Partnership**: Work directly with Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and leadership to identify performance gaps and prioritize development based on business needs. Collaborate with Talent & Org Design to ensure revenue development complements broader leadership development strategy.
**Measurement & Impact**: Define measurable outcomes for development programs, moving beyond attendance and satisfaction to track changes in manager behavior and revenue impact.
This is not a traditional L&D role. The ideal candidate understands how high-performing revenue organizations operate and has a demonstrated track record of improving performance of revenue leaders and sellers.
