Primer is a growing network of K–8 schools restoring foundational American education through close-knit learning environments and skilled educators. As Revenue Operations Lead, you will own the systems, processes, and reporting that guide families from first interaction through enrollment and first day of school.
You will own Salesforce, HubSpot, calling technology, and enrollment funnel reporting, serving as the daily operating partner to the Head of Growth and connective point between Marketing, Admissions, Product, and cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on builder role with no direct reports today, though the function may grow as Primer scales.
Key responsibilities include owning the revenue technology stack (architecture, administration, integrations, governance, optimization); maintaining data quality and documentation; translating business needs into technical requirements; redesigning the lead flow and enrollment engine with native platform capabilities; moving workflows from middleware to reliable integrations; evaluating and implementing calling/communications platforms; building comprehensive funnel reporting from lead generation through enrollment; establishing weekly/monthly rhythm-of-business reporting; creating forecasting and capacity-management tools; documenting Admissions playbooks for coaching and enablement; running weekly operating cadences with key partners; and maintaining a prioritized roadmap of system improvements.
In your first 90 days, you will map and document the full lead-flow and revenue-system architecture, identify high-risk gaps in routing, attribution, integrations, reporting, and data quality, align on future-state design with the Head of Growth, ship the first phase of lead-flow and integration migration, launch rhythm-of-business reporting with weekly review cadence, and publish a prioritized revenue operations roadmap with researched recommendations and impact assessments.
Required qualifications: deep hands-on experience with both Salesforce and HubSpot including relevant certifications; proven track record personally building and administering systems (not just managing vendors); experience building or rebuilding a revenue engine in early-stage or rapidly scaling companies; previous experience leading sales or customer-facing teams; experience supporting high-consideration consumer sales; strong understanding of lead routing, attribution, lifecycle stages, data architecture, reporting, and funnel management; ability to turn ambiguous business problems into clear requirements and shipped improvements; solutions-oriented approach with systems mindset.
Nice-to-have: CTI or calling platform evaluation/implementation experience, sales enablement or playbook development, forecasting/staffing/capacity modeling, multi-location or geographically distributed organization support.
