As Revenue Controller, you will report to the Group Finance Controller and own the financial controllership of Tide's Indian entities. This is a hands-on senior role responsible for building best-in-class financial reporting and control processes for the Indian operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understand, reconcile, and manage revenue and partner balances (loan book, fixed deposits, NPAs) for the lending vertical
- Lead monthly revenue close activities including revenue recognition, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Manage fixed deposit balances with partner lenders and maintain direct liaison
- Collaborate with Treasury on timely payments and partner demands
- Deliver accurate revenue performance reporting, key metrics, and balance sheet reconciliations for internal and external stakeholders
- Own end-to-end revenue accounting and controllership processes with compliance to IFRS/Ind AS standards
- Develop and maintain robust revenue control frameworks ensuring governance and policy adherence
- Analyze revenue streams, product profitability, transaction volumes, and trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Manage reconciliation processes across banking partners, payment processors, and third-party service providers
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with revenue insights
- Lead internal and external audits related to revenue processes and controls
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, product launches, and business expansion with financial insights
You bring 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in fintech or payment services (lending experience preferred). You hold a professional finance qualification (CA or Masters) and have strong technical accounting skills with familiarity in Indian GAAP and/or IFRS. You have experience with statutory audits in financial services, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and thrive in fast-paced startup environments. You are detail-oriented, commercially minded, and motivated by ownership of business-critical operations.
