As Revenue & Billing Analyst, you will own billing operations for an assigned portfolio of client accounts in a fully remote role (with optional HQ access in Des Moines, IA). This is a client-facing position requiring strong attention to detail and independent execution in a fast-growing environment.
Key responsibilities include: preparing and submitting accurate membership fee payments to partners on schedule; managing accounts receivable including payment posting and inquiry resolution; ensuring compliance with payer requirements and industry regulations; collaborating with providers, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies; generating financial and operational reports; and supporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
You will need 2+ years of experience in billing operations, client billing, accounts receivable, revenue operations, or related functions. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) is essential. Hands-on experience with cash-pay or customer-pay business models and transaction activity outside insurance reimbursement workflows is required. You must be able to interpret varied client contracts and apply pricing, fee, and payout terms accurately.
Ideal candidates are resourceful problem-solvers with exceptional organizational skills, strong customer service abilities, and proven capacity to support both internal and external stakeholders. You should be comfortable working independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with automation tools, reporting dashboards, and AI-enabled workflows is valued.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Stripe or similar payment platforms; demonstrated success creating standard operating procedures and billing documentation; and ability to maintain continuous operations during team transitions. Candidates in Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones are preferred.
