DocuSign is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join its finance team in a fully remote role based in Ireland. This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting, with collaboration across US and Dublin-based finance teams.
You will be responsible for reviewing revenue contracts to ensure compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606 standards, completing timely and accurate contract reviews at month-end, and participating in monthly and quarterly close activities. Your duties include preparing journal entries, conducting variance analysis, and performing deferred revenue and account reconciliations. You'll support both internal and external audits, work with the US revenue recognition team to maintain consistency and adherence to global processes, and partner with billing, revenue operations, financial reporting, and GL teams to drive best practices.
The role requires 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 3+ years with a Master's degree). You must have business fluency in German and English, deep knowledge of US GAAP revenue recognition principles and ASC 606, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables. Preferred qualifications include experience in revenue recognition roles at US software multinationals, familiarity with Oracle or large ERP systems, experience with Zuora Revenue (RevPro), Salesforce, and process automation tools like Alteryx or UiPath. You should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, thrive in high-growth fast-paced environments, and work cohesively within teams. Optional French language skills are valued.
