Palmetto is a leading clean tech company accelerating the transition to clean energy. The company operates at the intersection of B2B and D2C, offering software, financial products, and services for whole-home electrification and renewable energy adoption. Palmetto Capital, the financing arm, democratizes renewable energy and HVAC by providing homeowners and installation companies with financial products, platform access, and customer management tools.
The Relationship Specialist will support Palmetto Capital's financial products ecosystem, serving small and medium-sized EPCs (Energy Performance Contractors). Reporting to the Senior Relationship Manager, this role bridges product operations and account management.
Key responsibilities include: managing partner support via email, chat, and ticketing systems; maintaining financial portal queues to ensure smooth transactions and remove friction; providing coaching and training to EPC partners and sales representatives; evaluating and improving internal processes; collaborating with regional Relationship Managers to understand partner needs and build relationships; surfacing insights from partner interactions to leadership to identify product and experience improvements; implementing regional strategies to drive EPC engagement; and fostering cohesive regional strategy with the Relationship Manager.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Product Operations, Customer Service, Account Management Support, or Sales Fulfillment; knowledge of construction or solar industries is preferred. Required skills include strong verbal and written communication, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, problem-solving and data analysis capabilities, proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, Intercom, and chat support systems, and familiarity with AI tools. A BS/BA is preferred. The role demands someone who thrives in fast-paced, customer-centric environments where priorities shift quickly.
