Behavox is a data operating platform that helps multinational enterprises organize and act on data to manage risk, ensure compliance, and drive business growth. The company specializes in AI/ML-based solutions for enterprise data activation across multiple functions.
The Managed Services team reviews trade and electronic communications (eComms) surveillance alerts to support clients in reducing regulatory risk and improving compliance product capabilities. As a Regulatory Surveillance Analyst, you will be a key member of this team, responsible for analyzing alerts, supporting new and existing clients across multiple markets, and influencing product design.
Key responsibilities:
- Review eComms and trade surveillance alerts to identify potential market abuse, misconduct, conflicts of interest, and other regulatory violations
- Decode trader terminology and liaise with front-office staff to understand complex trading concepts and activities
- Identify and escalate non-standard communications or activities that suggest potential misconduct
- Stay current with regulatory and market changes to recommend enhancements to surveillance controls and compliance frameworks
- Work autonomously on complex research and analysis projects that drive business objectives
- Contribute to product improvements that enable expansion into new markets and support for existing clients
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders across the organization to influence product design

Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of market abuse and misconduct patterns in financial services firms
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and ability to research and apply relevant regulatory guidance
- Familiarity with trader terminology, surveillance operating models, and governance frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and research capabilities
- Demonstrated interest in Behavox's mission, market, and technologies
- Ability to work proactively and autonomously on complex projects
