Behavox is a data operating platform that helps multinational enterprises organize and act on enterprise data to manage risk, ensure compliance, and drive business growth. The company specializes in AI/ML-based solutions for surveillance, compliance, and regulatory risk management across financial services and other regulated industries.
The Regulatory Surveillance Analyst role sits within the Managed Services team, which reviews trade and electronic communications (eComms) surveillance alerts to support clients in reducing regulatory risk. This is a hybrid position based in Belfast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review eComms and trade surveillance alerts to identify potential market abuse, misconduct, conflicts of interest, and other regulatory violations
- Decode trader terminology and liaise with front-office staff to understand complex trading concepts and communications
- Identify and escalate non-standard communications or activities that may indicate misconduct
- Stay current with regulatory and market changes to recommend enhancements to surveillance controls and compliance frameworks
- Work autonomously on complex research and analysis projects that drive business objectives
- Contribute to product improvements for the Compliance platform to support expansion into new markets and client segments
- Influence product design by working alongside subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of market abuse and misconduct patterns in financial services firms
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and ability to research and apply relevant regulatory guidance
- Familiarity with trader terminology, surveillance operating models, and governance frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated genuine interest in Behavox's mission, market, and technologies
