Salary: GBP 70,600 - 83,000 / annual

Monzo is seeking an ambitious Regulatory Reporting Manager to lead and develop the Regulatory Reporting team. Reporting to the Regulatory Reporting Policy Team Senior Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring horizon scanning and interpretation activities (PRA Rulebook, EU CRR) are correctly reflected in capital, liquidity, and financial returns, while monitoring adherence to UK and European prudential rules. Key responsibilities include: - Proactively identifying and interpreting applicable rules, regulations, and guidance for the Regulatory Reporting team, ensuring ongoing compliance in return production - Developing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining processes and controls to maintain Monzo's regulatory interpretations - Ensuring processes and controls produce compliant, accurate, complete, and timely regulatory reporting - Collaborating with engineers and data scientists to source correct data with efficiency, accuracy, and consistent timelines - Working with internal stakeholders (Treasury, Risk, Data, project teams) to navigate complex or ambiguous regulations - Facilitating robust governance over regulatory identification, interpretation, and implementation - Reviewing all capital, liquidity, financial, and other regulatory returns for compliance - Instilling a culture of continuous improvement and engaging stakeholders on implementation changes - Playing a key role in automating Monzo's regulatory reporting, including implementation, UAT, and maintenance - Ensuring changes to regulatory reporting processes are implemented quickly and safely - Developing and maintaining the governance and control framework expected by regulators - Supporting Monzo's expansion plans and enabling the Regulatory Reporting team as a strategic partner You should have experience understanding and operationalizing a wide range of regulatory requirements and associated reporting, large-scale implementation and testing of automated reporting solutions, and the ability to identify improvement areas and propose dynamic solutions.
