Buena is building the technology platform that powers the real estate industry in Germany. The company acquires property management firms across the country and transforms them into technology-driven businesses. In under two years with fewer than 25 HQ staff, Buena has become Germany's second-largest property manager.
You will assume full operational and strategic responsibility for the Berlin regional cluster. From day one, you will lead the integration of newly acquired property management firms and oversee the migration of existing operations onto Buena's software platform. As an experienced executive, you will manage on-site location leaders, optimize processes, and scale traditional administrative structures into profitable, digitally-driven units.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operational and organizational integration of newly acquired property management firms into the regional cluster
- Systematic migration of existing and new property management operations to Buena's software platform
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of location managers and local teams, including personnel development
- Operational management of the entire portfolio, including liquidity planning and P&L accountability
- Regular reporting of key KPIs, financial results, and integration progress to Berlin headquarters
You will work in a fast-growing company with flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and access to an internal nationwide expert network with close collaboration with the founding team. You will receive a company car for private use and relocation support if needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a managing director or in a comparable senior leadership position at a property management firm, with focus on condominium (WEG) management
- Deep expertise in condominium law and rental law, managing a portfolio of approximately 70% condominium and 30% rental properties
- Practical experience in digital transformation of property management firms and migration to new software solutions
- Residence in the Berlin region or willingness to relocate
- Strong commercial acumen including P&L responsibility and hands-on mentality
