Salary: USD 100,000 - 125,000 / annual

Stepful is launching a Radiologic Technology A.A.S. program leading to ARRT (R) certification eligibility. The company partners directly with employers to help them build their own RadTech programs: employers sponsor education, while Stepful provides accreditation, curriculum, instruction, and operations. Labs and clinicals occur inside employer facilities, allowing students to train where they'll eventually work. As Program Director of record, you will shape program design and carry accountability for credentialing, completion, and job placement outcomes. Success will be measured by program completion and graduation rate, ARRT credentialing exam pass rate, and job placement rate. You will be supported by dedicated curriculum, operations, partnerships, and policy teams. This is a build role for someone who wants ownership of outcomes. Key responsibilities include: - Supporting curriculum development to meet accreditor standards - Leading development of clinical playbooks governing supervision, competency progression, and rotation quality - Owning program outcomes and tracking leading indicators for improvement - Serving as primary academic point of contact for ABHES compliance, including annual reporting and site visit readiness - Supporting employer partner conversations as a clinical SME - Building and leading faculty (didactic, lab, and clinical preceptors) - Traveling to partner sites for feasibility assessments, lab observations, preceptor development, and accreditation visits (approximately monthly in 2026, scaling to 50% in 2027) - Option to instruct the first cohort virtually or on-site The role is remote and Texas-based, reporting to the Imaging Programs Lead, with regular travel to partner sites. REQUIREMENTS: - Texas-based with reliable access to a major airport and availability to travel - Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification - Current Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology - Prior Program Director experience of an accredited radiography program - 5+ years of clinical experience in radiography - Familiarity with program accreditation and regulatory compliance, including JRCERT and ABHES accreditation requirements and process - Strong data and technical literacy, prioritizing leading indicators over retrospective metrics BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience building or launching a new academic program from the ground up - Direct experience partnering with employer or health-system stakeholders on workforce pipelines - Advanced degree (e.g., MEd, MHA) or certifications beyond ARRT R.T.(R) - Experience in a fast-growing startup or EdTech environment
