As Regional Vice President, Strategic Sales (Central/Mountain), you will lead a world-class team of Strategic Account Executives focused on selling Motive's enterprise solutions into the largest prospects across North America. You'll be a key leader in Motive's fastest-growing segment, responsible for team hiring, coaching, enablement, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of seasoned Strategic Account Executives, partnering on prospecting strategy, account planning, pipeline reviews, and revenue targets
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans to meet or exceed ACV targets on monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles
- Track Account Executive performance against KPIs, providing coaching and enablement for both short and long-term success
- Build a high-performance culture through best-in-class hiring and accountability
- Partner with Sales Enablement on training and coaching programs to ensure consistency across the organization
- Directly engage high-priority client prospects alongside your team to demonstrate Motive's value
- Ensure effective use of CRM and operational tools for pipeline planning, forecasting, and sales execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Sales Ops
The role is fully remote but highly prefers candidates in the Central or Mountain timezone. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment selling into Fortune 500 companies across industries including trucking, oil & gas, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and consumer transit.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of direct experience managing SaaS sales teams at the Strategic level
- Proven history of exceeding sales targets with Strategic-level clients
- Strong ability to lead and motivate others with excellent communication, empathy, and integrity
- People-focused mindset with passion for coaching and developing sales talent; demonstrated history of building strong sales cultures
- Track record of bringing rigor, execution, and accountability to team processes
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM and sales technologies
- Ability to lead with curiosity and actively participate in sales calls to help close deals
- Highly preferred: residence in Central or Mountain timezone
