Salary: USD 100,000 - 120,000 / annual
Distro is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead all sales and distribution operations in an assigned region. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all sales activities in the assigned region, including prospecting, internal approvals, pricing negotiations, and post-sale implementation
- Recruit, train, and develop sales staff; provide coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Achieve monthly sales targets through direct field leadership and accountability
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and hold team members accountable to goals
- Model consultative selling methodologies and closing techniques to sales associates
- Manage team activity by setting weekly goals, reviewing calendars, and establishing time management best practices
- Monitor sales pipeline to ensure healthy volume, mix, linearity, and account prioritization
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to serve as the trusted regional advisor
- Conduct deal reviews and strategy sessions for winning new accounts
- Represent and support corporate initiatives with a positive attitude
- Implement rules and strategies to reach management-set targets
- Travel as required by regional needs
- Attend mandatory seminars and training to stay current on best practices
- Complete ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and marketing
- Extensive knowledge of business and economic environment
- Ability to apply leadership skills to motivate and get results from direct reports
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to accurately forecast pipeline projections
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office tools
- Good computational skills and accounting knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of company policies and sales strategies
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems; Salesforce preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Some travel required
