Echodyne is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across Southeast Asia for its advanced solid-state radar technology. The company specializes in compact, beam-steering radar systems for autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft, drones, and critical infrastructure security applications.
In this role, you will own the Asia Pacific territory and be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a robust opportunity pipeline, providing weekly sales forecasts, and orchestrating overall capture strategy for major accounts. You will conduct high-level conversations with senior executives at prospective customers, establish relationships with key decision-makers, and lead competitive assessments to position Echodyne solutions effectively in the regional defense marketplace.
You will build mutually beneficial relationships with defense-focused integrators and resellers, develop detailed customer profiles to understand needs and competitive dynamics, and coordinate solution implementation at customer sites to ensure satisfaction. The role requires conducting on-site product demonstrations, representing Echodyne at industry conferences and test sites, and managing customer relationships post-close to drive expansion and renewal.
Success is measured by consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets and KPIs. You will track closed deals, analyze win-loss performance, and share insights to help the broader team improve execution and accelerate growth.
Required qualifications include exceptional performance selling into Asia Pacific defense and security markets, a proven track record of capturing net new business and exceeding quota, strong technical acumen with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, and demonstrated success managing executive-level relationships across the region. You should be organized, detail-oriented, skilled at forecasting and qualification, and comfortable with up to 50% travel.
