Halter is a climate-tech company enabling farmers and graziers to adopt virtual fencing technology, transforming grazing practices and sustainability. The company is backed by tier-1 investors including Founders Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, and DCVC.
This is a foundational Regional Sales Manager role for Argentina, one of the world's largest beef producers. You will be Halter's first on-the-ground sales hire in the region, responsible for building the customer base from zero and establishing the company's presence in this strategic market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and qualifying leads through cold outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound inquiries
- Conducting on-farm demonstrations and closing deals with farmers and graziers
- Managing the full sales pipeline from prospecting through contract negotiation
- Setting quotas, commissions, and sales processes as the team scales
- Mentoring and developing future sales staff as the region grows
- Collaborating with Customer Success on implementations and renewals
- Building industry relationships and establishing Halter's brand in a new market
- Providing customer feedback to inform product development
You will need at least 5 years of end-to-end sales experience with a proven track record of sourcing prospects, securing meetings, and closing deals. Experience in beef farming or agriculture is highly desirable. Sales experience in technology-based industries is preferred. You must be fluent in Spanish with professional English, results-driven, adaptable to ambiguity, and comfortable building in a nascent market. A university degree is preferred but not required.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how an entire industry adopts virtual fencing technology and to be a foundational contributor to Halter's growth in Argentina.
