The Regional Safety, Compliance, and Loss Prevention Manager is a director-level role responsible for executing and continuously improving Stord's health, safety, security, and loss prevention programs across a defined region of fulfillment and warehouse facilities. Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety, and Security, this role translates enterprise standards into daily operational reality, driving consistent performance across sites, building regional team capability, and owning measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership & Development:** Recruit, hire, and onboard site-level safety and loss prevention professionals. Set clear performance expectations, conduct coaching conversations, and deliver structured feedback and development plans. Build a high-accountability, growth-oriented team culture and identify succession needs.
**Safety Program Execution:** Deploy and sustain enterprise safety standards across all regional facilities. Conduct or oversee facility audits, gap assessments, and corrective action tracking. Lead incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis quality and timely closure. Represent the region in enterprise safety forums and coordinate peak readiness reviews.
**Loss Prevention & Asset Protection:** Own regional loss prevention strategy, including shrink reduction targets and security controls. Oversee internal investigations related to theft, fraud, and inventory discrepancy. Analyze loss trends and drive root cause resolution through operational improvements. Manage CCTV, access control, and physical security standards across sites.
**Compliance & Risk Management:** Ensure regional compliance posture across OSHA, state regulations, and internal standards. Serve as the regional decision-maker for incidents, investigations, and regulatory inquiries. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could result in financial loss, operational disruption, or asset damage.
Success is measured by regional safety performance, loss prevention effectiveness, compliance posture, and the strength of the team built to sustain a safety-first culture. The role is based in Dallas, TX with 40-50% travel required across regional facilities.
