Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 / annual
CLEAR is building a secure identity platform transforming how people live, work, and travel. With 43+ million members and a growing global partner network, CLEAR operates across airports, stadiums, and everyday experiences.
You will serve as the centralized employee relations partner for CLEAR's Airport Operations team, providing direct support for one region. This is a hands-on role where you ensure consistent employee relations practices across all stations, coach operations leaders through complex situations, and build an exceptional team member experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the go-to People Partner for Operations leaders in your region, providing proactive guidance on employee relations matters
- Coach and develop station leaders and managers through training, feedback, and recognition programs
- Own employee and labor relations across your stations: conduct investigations, identify root causes, and deliver fair and consistent outcomes in collaboration with Legal
- Translate employee data, survey results, and field insights into actionable recommendations for leaders
- Partner across People and Operations on major initiatives including onboarding, process improvements, and standardization of People practices
- Lead timely, thorough, and objective workplace investigations involving employee complaints, misconduct, and policy violations
- Advise leaders on corrective action, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and consistent employment practices
- Identify employee relations trends and develop proactive solutions to improve engagement, accountability, and employee experience
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
Success is measured by: reduced repeat employee relations issues and faster resolution, improved engagement and retention across airport teams, leaders actively using training and programs you develop, and consistent People processes across all stations in your region.
This is an in-office role based at CLEAR's NY headquarters with anticipated travel up to 30%.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of HR or People Business Partner experience, including direct support for hourly or frontline teams and handling complex employee relations matters
- Ability to earn trust with operational leaders quickly and coach them through difficult decisions with sound judgment and empathy
- Strong data literacy and ability to translate employee feedback into actionable insights
- Capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Clear communication skills across all organizational levels, from one-on-one coaching to group presentations
- Willingness to be on the ground in operations with up to 30% travel
