Roadsurfer, Europe's largest campervan rental company, is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee operations across multiple stations in the Germany North-West region. You will be responsible for ensuring operational success, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction across all regional locations while driving continuous improvement and strategic growth.
Key responsibilities include: managing regional station operations and performance against profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction targets; developing and implementing improvement initiatives; advancing station organization and supporting both operational and strategic growth; owning regional budgets and ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control; leading, coaching, and developing station teams to drive high engagement and long-term success; maintaining quality standards and implementing consistent processes and best practices across all regional locations; and analyzing regional performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities and implement sustainable improvements.
You will manage multiple locations with a hands-on, pragmatic approach to solving operational challenges. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, budget and cost management experience, and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams across decentralized organizational structures.
Required qualifications: completed vocational training or degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional qualification; minimum 5 years in an operational leadership role managing multiple locations or regions, ideally in car rental, tourism, hospitality, or similar decentralized business models; proven experience leading and developing teams across multiple sites and managing decentralized organizational structures; demonstrated experience managing operational KPIs, budgets, and costs; strong analytical skills and understanding of business economics; high personal responsibility, hands-on mentality, and ability to solve operational challenges pragmatically; empathy and passion for people with ability to build and develop strong teams; fluent German and English; high willingness to travel within the region; and valid Class B driver's license.
