Nearmap is a property intelligence platform that combines aerial imagery, AI-driven analytics, and geospatial tools to help professionals plan, build, insure, and govern the built environment. Insurance is the company's largest and fastest-growing vertical, and this role sits at the center of go-to-market strategy for the ANZ region.
You will own the in-market pipeline strategy for ANZ Insurance, working with a concentrated universe of high-value accounts including insurance carriers, MGAs, and insurtechs. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing in-market pipeline strategy for ANZ Insurance, determining where effort is concentrated and why
- Building account-based marketing (ABX/ABM) programs for priority carriers, mapped to underwriting, claims, risk, and technology buying committees
- Partnering closely with Sales leadership on pipeline reviews, named accounts, and programs that unblock stalled deals—including sequencing BDR/SDR outbound alongside campaign and intent signals
- Owning the ANZ Insurance event strategy: deciding which events to anchor, which accounts to target, and what pipeline each event needs to generate
- Serving as the feedback loop between ANZ and global teams, adapting global campaigns to local market reality and communicating what buyers, competitors, and the market are actually doing
You are a strategic operator who can see where plans need to bend to local reality and make those calls confidently. Sales leadership treats you as a peer because you bring pipeline insight, not just program updates. You are a sharp prioritizer who knows where effort pays off against a short list of big accounts. You communicate clearly with buyers, sellers, and global stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years in ABM/ABX, field, or demand generation marketing in B2B SaaS or tech, with a clear record of pipeline contribution
- Proven account-based programs run with enterprise AE teams, with shared pipeline accountability
- Ability to influence senior Sales leaders and cross-functional partners without formal authority
- Comfort with Salesforce, Marketo, or HubSpot, and intent data tools (6sense or similar)
- Insurance, insurtech, or financial services experience is a plus but not required; strong go-to-market marketers who can learn the industry fast are encouraged to apply
