Mixpanel is hiring a Senior Regional Marketing Manager to build the ANZ (Australia/New Zealand) marketing function from the ground up. You'll own the full customer lifecycle—acquisition, conversion, activation, and retention—with events as a core pillar. Reporting to the APAC Marketing Director, you'll define what works in this emerging market, test new channels, and become the go-to expert on ANZ dynamics for the broader APAC and global teams. Key responsibilities include executing ANZ marketing programs end-to-end (events, customer marketing, community programs), managing full event logistics from venue sourcing through pipeline conversion, identifying and scaling high-performing channels based on data, building customer advocacy initiatives, monitoring performance metrics against pipeline goals, and proactively communicating risks and dependencies to leadership and cross-functional partners. You'll act as the regional expert, sharing market insights with peers across EMEA and the US to help their programs land better in ANZ. You bring a track record in B2B or SaaS marketing (ideally with analytics experience), strong project management skills, and comfort operating in undefined spaces without a playbook. You're hands-on, willing to execute rather than wait for perfect conditions, and you make sound business judgments about how marketing spend connects to pipeline and revenue. You test ideas against data, adjust course based on results, and communicate clearly—especially when flagging risks or explaining tradeoffs. You build trust across time zones and cultures, and you're genuinely curious about what ANZ customers need and how that differs from other Mixpanel markets. Bonus experience includes time at high-growth startups and specialization in on/offline events, partner marketing, or community marketing.
