Amira Learning is seeking a Regional Manager for the Northeast to drive revenue growth and expand market share for its AI-powered reading tutor platform. The role focuses on selling Amira's innovative literacy solution—which combines reading science and AI to deliver 1:1 tutoring outcomes—into new school districts with 5,000+ students.
Key responsibilities include territory development through consultative, hunter-style sales; building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified leads; conducting product demonstrations tailored to district needs; maintaining detailed CRM records in Salesforce; and providing regular pipeline and revenue forecasts. The position requires up to 50% travel within the Northeast region and demands residency in that area.
You will employ a challenger sales mindset, partner with district leadership to drive successful implementations, and collaborate cross-functionally to maximize territory performance. Success requires deep knowledge of K-12 education, literacy science, and edtech trends, combined with proven ability to close complex deals with large educational institutions.
Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years of direct K-12 education sales experience, a track record of new business generation, and either buyer-side or seller-side familiarity with district procurement. An understanding of the science of reading, strong executive presence, and early adoption of AI tools are valued. Bachelor's degree preferred.
