Salary: GBP 50,000 - 65,000 / annual
Zen Educate is a rapidly growing EdTech marketplace that connects schools with vetted teachers and support staff, disrupting the £2bn UK agency staffing market. Since 2017, the platform has saved schools over £30m. The company recently closed a Series B funding round of $37m, the largest in European EdTech that year, and is expanding aggressively across UK and US markets.
As Regional Director for the South East (based in Liverpool), you will lead commercial operations for secondary schools in your region. You'll own revenue and growth targets, execute go-to-market strategies, and build strategic relationships with school leaders and trust executives. Key responsibilities include:
- Drive commercial success and revenue growth for secondary schools in Liverpool
- Set targets, design and execute effective marketing and new business campaigns
- Provide line management to Account Managers, building and upskilling the team
- Build senior strategic relationships with executive school leaders, Trust CEOs, and other key stakeholders
- Increase efficiency of days booked and platform adoption across your region
- Collaborate cross-functionally with team leaders across the business
Success will be measured by YoY revenue growth, active school growth, school retention, marketing campaign effectiveness, resourcing efficiency, and platform adoption rates.

Requirements:
- Minimum one year of direct line management experience managing more than two people
- Strong understanding of school pain points and demonstrated passion for solving education challenges
- Commercial leadership experience or school leadership experience (ideally both) with proven success
- Track record of rapid career growth and excitement about further advancement
- Solution-oriented mindset, collaborative team player, strong understanding of cross-functional collaboration
