SoundCloud is seeking a Recruiting & Operations Manager to join its Talent Acquisition team in a hybrid role based in New York. This position balances full-cycle recruiting with operational excellence, serving as a strategic partner to hiring managers while enhancing internal processes.
Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end recruitment for technical and business roles, from sourcing and kick-off meetings through offer negotiation and onboarding. You will deliver high-touch candidate experiences, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and ensure seamless stakeholder alignment throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Operationally, you will own the integrity of the recruiting function using Greenhouse ATS for interview scheduling, candidate communications, feedback management, scorecard analysis, and reporting. You will champion DEI initiatives by ensuring inclusive language in job descriptions, auditing sourcing practices for bias, and contributing to employer branding efforts.
Additionally, you will proactively identify friction points in hiring processes and implement automated workflows to increase team efficiency. You will provide recommendations on new tools and technologies aligned with team needs and scaling goals, generate proactive reporting to leadership on hiring metrics and demographic data, and operate autonomously to manage complex workflows including global hiring coordination while maintaining high data accuracy and candidate experience standards.
The role requires 2-4+ years of experience in recruiting, operations, or coordination roles, preferably in music, streaming, entertainment, or tech companies. You should have proven full-cycle recruitment experience managing both technical and business roles, and familiarity with Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms. Strong organizational skills, data-driven mindset, and passion for DEI are essential.
