Arca is a Series A wealth management platform built with AI, backed by General Catalyst, Index Ventures, and Venrock. The company has raised $64M and is rebuilding the $20T wealth management market by combining human advisors with AI-powered tools that handle low-leverage work, freeing advisors to focus on client relationships and judgment.
As Arca's first Recruiting Lead, you will build and own the entire recruiting function from the ground up. This is a full-cycle role spanning two distinct talent pipelines: technical talent (engineers with ownership mentality) and non-technical roles (wealth advisors with licenses and client relationships, GTM/marketing hires, and operators for new functions).
Key responsibilities include:
- Pipeline & Sourcing: Run full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, GTM, operations, and beyond. You will personally source candidates and leaders, not just manage a pipeline built by others.
- Hiring Function Design: Build interview loops, hiring scorecards, ATS workflows, and processes from scratch. You're establishing the candidate experience and hiring rigor that will define the company's talent bar.
- Candidate Experience: Serve as the first touchpoint for candidates and shepherd exceptional prospects through the offer stage. You'll create excitement and momentum around the Arca opportunity.
- Scaling the Function: As hiring accelerates, you'll manage external recruiters and agencies where they add leverage, and eventually build out an internal recruiting team.

You can evaluate and close technical talent—understanding engineers, speaking their language, and competing for them against other opportunities. You're deeply comfortable with AI, using it daily to multiply your impact and solve problems. You're someone people genuinely want to work with in a small, high-performing team.
Arca is a 15-person team based in NYC (Flatiron), working five days in-office, though this role is open to remote candidates. The team includes alumni from Stripe, Ramp, Rippling, Plaid, Doordash, and Glean.
