Salary: USD 80,000 - 85,000 / annual

Chalk is a data platform company that powers machine learning applications, combining high-performance infrastructure with developer-friendly tools. The platform is used by leading companies for fraud detection, identity verification, and clean energy optimization. The company recently raised a $50M Series A led by Felicis. As Recruiting Coordinator, you will be the operational backbone of Chalk's hiring process in the NYC office. You'll work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate interview loops, manage candidate logistics, and ensure every candidate has a seamless experience from arrival through departure. Key responsibilities include: - Coordinating virtual and in-person interview schedules with candidates and internal interview teams - Managing all logistics for onsite interviews at the NYC office, including workspace setup, candidate arrival, and wrap-up - Maintaining accurate candidate records and recruitment activities in the ATS and recruiting tools - Providing exceptional candidate experience by addressing needs and ensuring efficient process flow - Proactively solving day-of issues, including last-minute scheduling changes and conflicts - Communicating clearly with candidates and internal teams about interview logistics and updates - Supporting ad hoc recruiting events and meetings as needed This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days per week at the NYC office, with flexibility for unavoidable conflicts). You'll be an early employee at a high-growth startup with visible impact on company operations. Requirements: - BA/BS degree or equivalent experience - 1+ years of recruiting coordination experience in-house at a tech company, preferably at a fast-paced organization - Detail-oriented with strong operational execution skills - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities - Ability to solve ambiguous problems and thrive in fast-paced environments - Personable, warm demeanor; excellent at making candidates feel welcome and supported - Ability to think on your feet and respond quickly to last-minute changes Bonus: Prior startup experience.
