As a Recruiting Associate, you'll own the sourcing strategy for Engineering, Product, and Design roles. Rather than passively posting jobs, you'll proactively identify and reach top talent before they're actively looking. You'll map where the best candidates are, build relationships through alumni networks, referrals, campus programs, and industry events, and create AI-powered workflows to scale repeatable sourcing and screening tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies for technical roles, focusing on quality over volume
- Sourcing both active and passive candidates, identifying force multipliers for the team
- Building and maintaining talent pipelines through alumni networks, referrals, campus recruiting, and events
- Organizing relationship-building events and dinners
- Creating AI-powered workflows for sourcing, screening, and pipeline management
- Screening and managing technical candidates through early-stage interviews
- Partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to maintain momentum in interview processes
You'll report to the Senior Manager of Technical Recruiting and work in a hybrid environment (3–4 days/week in NYC office, with required attendance Tuesdays and Thursdays).
The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience in recruiting at a tech startup, recruiting agency, hedge fund, or investment bank. You're already using AI to automate tasks and improve workflows. You're genuinely energized by people and technology, highly organized with sharp attention to detail, and excellent at written and verbal communication. You're insatiably curious and ask questions until you understand the "why" behind processes.
