Braze is seeking a high-potential Recruiter to help build and scale the APAC and Japan team. This is an end-to-end talent acquisition role focused on sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent across Japan-based teams, primarily in Go-To-Market (GTM) functions, but also spanning technical roles and General & Administrative positions. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the complete candidate lifecycle from initial outreach through offer acceptance - Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team priorities, define ideal candidate profiles, and implement best-in-class recruiting strategies - Screen candidates, facilitate post-interview debrief sessions, and guide hiring teams toward data-driven hiring decisions - Maintain a strong pulse on SaaS and Tech hiring trends in Japan, leveraging direct sourcing methods and agency relationships to build robust, scalable candidate talent pools - Support regional APAC recruiting initiatives and participate in cross-functional HR projects beyond talent acquisition About Braze: Braze is the leading customer engagement platform empowering brands to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience (agency or in-house) - Fluency in Japanese (native-level or equivalent) and professional working proficiency in English to engage with local candidates and communicate with global stakeholders - Growth mindset and curiosity; eager to learn and open to feedback - Strategic and analytical thinking with ability to track and analyze recruiting metrics to resolve pipeline bottlenecks - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with proven ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment - Experience engaging with or supporting senior leadership is highly preferred (not limited to recruiting contexts) Bonus Points: - Experience using Greenhouse ATS or similar modern recruiting platforms - Experience recruiting within SaaS, Cloud, or Enterprise Technology industries
