Recently acquired by Mercor and backed by Andreessen Horowitz's $43M Series A, Deeptune is scaling rapidly.
As a Recruiter, you will own full-cycle recruiting for assigned searches, reporting to the Head of Talent. You'll partner closely with hiring managers to translate ambiguous needs into clear search strategies and structured requirements. Key responsibilities include running structured intake meetings, building and maintaining pipelines of high-caliber engineering and operations talent (with emphasis on passive candidates), refining interview loops and assessment design, developing deep domain knowledge in technical and operational spaces, and advising hiring managers with market data and calibration feedback.
You'll design assessments that predict on-the-job performance, partner with HR on equitable offers, and handle sensitive candidate and role information with discretion. This is a high-ownership role for someone comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and capable of building recruiting processes that scale.
Ideal candidates have full-cycle recruiting experience across IC and leadership roles, deep familiarity with technical/operational/GTM hiring, proven ability to build and scale hiring systems with data-driven decision-making, and strong cross-functional communication skills. Experience as a founding recruiter or early-stage startup builder at high-growth tech/AI companies is a plus, as is comfort using LLMs for sourcing and market mapping.
