Salary: USD 240,000 - 295,000 / annual

Anthropic is seeking an experienced Recruiter to partner with its Communications team, which owns corporate, product, executive, and internal communications. You will be the primary recruiter for this growing team, owning full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer. You will advise senior leaders on talent market dynamics, compensation benchmarks, and winning strategies for hard-to-find communications talent. Key responsibilities include: - Owning full-lifecycle recruiting for communications, PR, and adjacent roles - Finding and engaging passive candidates through creative sourcing channels - Building trust with senior leaders and providing data-driven recommendations - Running a high-touch, efficient hiring process that respects candidates' time - Supporting executive and confidential searches with discretion - Turning hiring data into actionable insights, not just status updates - Potentially expanding to support Brand and Marketing hiring as the team grows You should have a genuine passion for AI's potential to positively impact the world, paired with a realistic understanding of its risks. You must write clearly, pay close attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Anthropnic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco, focused on creating reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. The company operates as a single cohesive team on large-scale research efforts and values communication skills highly. Location: Hybrid with offices in San Francisco, CA and New York City, NY. Currently, staff are expected to be in office at least 25% of the time, though some roles may require more. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: - 10+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience with a track record of closing senior, hard-to-fill roles - Experience recruiting for communications, PR, or adjacent roles with deep understanding of the craft - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience - A field of study relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Preferred: - Experience hiring for a high-growth technology company whose public narrative is strategically important - Established network across media, agency, and in-house communications talent - Experience supporting executive-level hiring - Hands-on experience using AI tools in daily work with curiosity about their application to recruiting
