Bobyard is hiring a full-cycle recruiter to own hiring across the entire company as they scale rapidly. This is a generalist recruiting role spanning engineering, product, design, go-to-market, operations, and customer success.
You will manage the complete recruiting pipeline for all open roles: intake with hiring managers, pipeline building, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer management, and negotiation. The role requires proactive sourcing across multiple channels (GitHub, LinkedIn, research corpora, niche communities, referral networks) with tailored outreach that converts. You'll coordinate interview panels, maintain candidate tracking in Ashby, and ensure hiring managers have structured candidate profiles with clear fit hypotheses.
Key responsibilities include instrumenting the recruiting funnel to track source quality, response rates, stage conversion, and time-to-fill; partnering with a Talent Engineer to identify automation opportunities; and representing Bobyard's brand throughout every candidate interaction. You'll own offer structuring, compensation band management, and candidate closure, with exposure to immigration and visa considerations.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience at early-stage startups, comfortable switching context between technical and non-technical hiring. You should be skilled at quickly assessing fit from resumes, GitHub profiles, and LinkedIn; write compelling, personalized outreach; operate effectively without a complete playbook; and be data-literate in tracking pipeline metrics. Fluency in Ashby or similar ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter is required. Experience in construction, trades, or technical industries is a bonus.
Full-time, in-person role in San Francisco. Competitive base salary with meaningful equity. The company values learning rate and judgment over pedigree.
