Salary: USD 170,000 - 220,000 / annual

Flow is reimagining residential and commercial real estate through a technology-enabled platform spanning condominiums, hotels, multifamily residences, and office spaces. The company combines real estate operations with a community-focused brand to create flexible, connected living and working experiences. As Real Estate Counsel, you will be a core member of Flow's legal and business operations team, executing the company's real estate growth strategy with speed and business alignment. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of legal, finance, and operations. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across the full spectrum of real estate transactions: acquisitions, leasing, property management agreements, financing, amendments, assignments, SNDAs, estoppels, NDAs, and license agreements - Manage outside counsel relationships to ensure high-quality document production within optimized cost structures - Partner closely with Real Estate and Finance teams to ensure deal terms capture business needs and mitigate legal and operational risks - Lead legal due diligence on new investments and coordinate broader due-diligence efforts - Ensure transactions comply with local land use, zoning, and regulatory requirements; arrange necessary approvals and licensing - Counsel internal stakeholders on key agreement terms and facilitate professional relationships between property teams and external partners - Interpret lease and agreement terms, assess risk, and make sound practical judgments under pressure Required Qualifications: - 2–5 years of transactional real estate counsel experience (in-house experience preferred) - Active bar admission in good standing - Strong business knowledge of real estate, including finance and operations nuances - Superior contract drafting and deal negotiation skills - Ability to work quickly and pivot with flexibility and creativity - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate between legal, business, and layman's terms - Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to manage complex agreements under tight deadlines - Proactive, decisive, and mission-driven team player
