Salary: USD 160,000 - 220,000 / annual
Applied Intuition is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to own and optimize the legal department's operations and technology stack. This role encompasses procurement, contract lifecycle management (CLM), privacy software, and legal request ticketing systems. You will evaluate, implement, and maintain legal tech tools while driving process improvement and AI integration across the organization.
Key responsibilities include owning the legal tech stack from evaluation through ongoing administration; leading workflow automation and AI-powered tool integration while ensuring data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance; managing system migrations, upgrades, and user access; partnering with Legal, Finance, and Procurement to capture requirements and optimize processes; serving as project manager across multiple concurrent initiatives; developing training and documentation for end users; monitoring legal technology and privacy trends; managing vendor relationships; and tracking metrics and system adoption.
You bring 5+ years of experience in legal operations, technical program management, or technology implementation with direct ownership of legal or compliance systems. You have demonstrated expertise in project management, systems integration, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience with ticketing systems (Jira), procurement tools (Coupa), CLMs, and workflow/process improvement in high-growth tech environments is required. You are technically acumen and comfortable evaluating and integrating new technologies and AI solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Nice-to-have qualifications include a background in technical program management or business systems, experience leading legal technology initiatives at scaling tech companies, and knowledge of procurement, finance systems, and legal process automation.
