Classiq Technologies is building the future of quantum computing by creating a platform that makes quantum computing practical and accessible. You will lead Classiq's quantum execution platform team, combining software engineering expertise with quantum computing innovation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage a team of 5+ talented software engineers and own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of the platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and growing a high-performing software engineering team
- Owning the architecture and technical direction of the quantum execution platform
- Building scalable infrastructure for orchestrating quantum execution across diverse hardware providers, simulators, and cloud environments
- Developing deep understanding of quantum applications and backend capabilities to optimize execution performance
- Driving high standards of software quality, reliability, and engineering excellence
- Collaborating with Product, Infrastructure, and other core teams to deliver production-ready capabilities
You bring 3+ years of experience leading software engineering or R&D teams of 5+ engineers. You have a proven track record designing scalable backend systems, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration platforms. You excel at architectural thinking, translating complex concepts into production-quality software, and hiring and mentoring engineering talent. You're a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, passionate about solving challenging problems at the intersection of software engineering and complex technical domains.
