Ceribell is a medical technology company transforming the diagnosis and management of serious neurological conditions through its novel point-of-care EEG platform. The Ceribell System is deployed across hundreds of community hospitals, academic facilities, and major integrated delivery networks nationwide, enabling rapid seizure detection in acute care settings.
You will join the Office of the CTO as R&D Strategy & Operations Manager, serving as a versatile problem-solver who bridges technical literacy, analytical rigor, and project management to drive execution of key R&D initiatives. You will partner closely with the Chief of Staff and CTO to ensure smooth operations, effective cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication of priorities across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Analysis & Reporting**: Conduct analyses to support technology and operational decision-making, including product and R&D roadmapping, capacity planning, process improvement, and insight generation. Prepare presentations, reports, and briefs for the CTO and leadership team.
**Project & Program Management**: Drive execution of priority R&D and technology initiatives by coordinating across Product Development, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, and Go-to-Market teams. Own trackers, dashboards, and status updates to keep projects on schedule. Identify risks, dependencies, and escalate appropriately.
**Special Projects**: Lead or support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives in R&D, technology, operations, business systems, and external relations. Conduct research and benchmarking to inform decision-making.
You bring a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field. Medical device experience is highly preferred, as is background in strategic consulting, business strategy, operations, or MedTech product management. You excel at project management, independent research (literature review, customer interviews, competitive analysis), and bringing structure to complex, ambiguous questions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Willingness to travel up to 10% annually.
