Stepful is a workforce platform training healthcare workers for America's largest health systems. The company has trained over 32,000 practice-ready healthcare workers since 2021 and partners with half of the top 10 US health systems. Backed by Y Combinator and Reach Capital with a recent $55M Series C, Stepful was named the #1 EdTech company in the US by TIME for 2025. Stepful is launching a Radiologic Technology A.A.S. program leading to ARRT (R) certification eligibility, partnering directly with employers to build their own RadTech programs. Employers sponsor education while Stepful provides accreditation, curriculum, instruction, and operations. Labs and clinicals occur inside employer facilities, allowing students to train where they'll eventually work. As Radiology School Program Director of record, you will be the academic leader responsible for shaping program design and carrying accountability for credentialing, completion, and job placement outcomes. Success is measured by program completion and graduation rate, ARRT credentialing exam pass rate, and job placement rate. You will be supported by dedicated curriculum, operations, partnerships, and policy teams and will report to the Imaging Programs Lead. Key responsibilities include: - Program Design & Curriculum: Support development of curriculum meeting accreditor standards; lead development of clinical playbooks governing supervision, competency progression, and rotation quality. - Outcomes, Accreditation & Compliance: Own program outcomes including completion rate, graduation rate, ARRT exam pass rate, and job placement rate; track leading indicators and identify interventions; serve as primary academic point of contact for ABHES compliance, including annual reporting, substantive change filings, and site visit readiness. - Partnerships & Faculty Leadership: Support employer partner conversations as a clinical SME; build and lead faculty including hiring, onboarding, observation, and development of didactic faculty, lab instructors, and clinical preceptors. - Travel & Teaching: Travel to partner sites for feasibility assessments, lab observations, preceptor development, and accreditation visits (approximately monthly in 2026, scaling to 50% travel in 2027); option to instruct first cohort virtually or on-site. This is a build role, not a maintenance role, for someone who wants ownership of program outcomes and the opportunity to scale a new academic program across the country. REQUIREMENTS: - Texas-based with reliable access to a major airport and availability to travel - Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification - Current Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology - Prior Program Director experience of an accredited radiography program - 5+ years of clinical experience in radiography - Familiarity with program accreditation and regulatory compliance, including JRCERT and ABHES accreditation requirements and process - Strong data and technical literacy, prioritizing leading indicators over retrospective metrics BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience building or launching a new academic program from the ground up - Direct experience partnering with employer or health-system stakeholders on workforce pipelines - Advanced degree (e.g., MEd, MHA) or certifications beyond ARRT R.T.(R) - Experience in fast-growing startup or EdTech environment
