Classiq Technologies is seeking a Quantum Application Engineer to join its Singapore office and support the company's mission to make quantum computing practical and impactful. The role bridges hardware and real-world applications by enabling developers and enterprises to design, optimize, and deploy quantum algorithms at scale.
You will provide technical support and guidance to Classiq's customers, partners, and internal teams, troubleshooting technical issues and managing projects related to quantum algorithms and applications. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Classiq's global Quantum Application Engineering team and cross-functional teams across APAC to drive customer success by helping customers maximize the value of Classiq's technology while identifying opportunities for product improvements.
You will develop and present compelling demonstrations of novel quantum algorithms and applications to customers, prospects, partners, and stakeholders. Additionally, you will act as a Classiq evangelist in Singapore, promoting Classiq's technology, brand, and values within the local quantum computing ecosystem.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. You should have experience or strong knowledge in quantum information, quantum software engineering, quantum computing, or quantum algorithms. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential, along with strong technical support, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
Native or full professional proficiency in English is required, with proficiency in another APAC language as a plus. Python programming proficiency is an advantage. You should be able to work independently, take ownership of projects, and collaborate effectively in a remote and globally distributed environment. While the position is primarily office-based in Singapore, flexible work arrangements including work-from-home options are available.
