Radiant is building the world's first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company's flagship product, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor designed for rapid deployment to hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in El Segundo, CA, Radiant is preparing to test its first reactor at Idaho National Laboratory with initial customer deliveries expected in 2028.
As Quality Operations Specialist, you will be a hands-on execution role supporting Radiant's Quality program as it scales. You will coordinate recurring Quality activities, maintain operating infrastructure (templates, workflows, tools, systems, documentation), and standardize document and information management practices. A key focus is developing Radiant's Quality Intelligence capability by improving data integrity, centralizing Quality information, building dashboards and reporting, and making program performance transparent and actionable.
You will support and sustain Quality program execution by maintaining records, actions, and operational controls. You'll maintain Quality data integrity by monitoring and reconciling critical Quality attributes and configuration data across business systems. You will drive continuous improvement by identifying friction points, manual work, weak handoffs, and opportunities to streamline established Quality processes. You'll partner with Reliability & Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to keep Quality processes practical, accurate, and scalable.
Your responsibilities include monitoring Quality program health, maintaining visibility into execution and compliance status, supporting implementation of new or revised Quality processes, and stepping into operational, process, data, or compliance activities as program needs evolve. This role offers broad exposure across the Quality program with the opportunity to develop deeper technical expertise and take on increasing ownership over time.
Required: 2–5 years in Quality, manufacturing, operations, engineering support, or related environment. Strong ability to create structure from ambiguous work, attention to detail, comfort with data and spreadsheets, strong written communication, and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. Desired: experience with document control, dashboards/metrics, tools like Excel/Power BI/SQL/Confluence/PLM/ERP/QMS, exposure to aerospace/nuclear/defense/medical device industries, familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100/NQA-1, and process improvement/automation experience.
