AnySignal is a startup building next-generation RF products and services for demanding space and defense missions. The company provides a flexible, high-performance platform designed for easy deployment, monitoring, purchasing, and upgrading. As Quality Manager, you will build and lead AnySignal's quality function across development and production. This role combines hands-on ownership of inspection and quality execution with strategic leadership to scale quality systems, team, and culture. Key responsibilities include: **Quality Leadership & Strategy**: Own and evolve the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards, keeping it compliant yet practical for a fast-moving hardware environment. Build and lead the quality team while defining company quality strategy across the full product lifecycle. Establish and track key quality metrics (yield, escapes, nonconformances, reliability) and drive improvement through Lean, SPC, and DOE methodologies. **Supplier & Cross-Functional Quality**: Interface with customers on RMA logistics and documentation. Partner with Supply Chain on supplier quality including incoming inspection, corrective actions, and qualification. Establish strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement. **Manufacturing & Product Quality**: Own inspection processes (incoming, in-process, final) and metrology systems. Lead MRB, NCR/CAPA/RCA workflows to closure. Partner with Engineering on design reviews, manufacturability, and quality plans to prevent escapes and improve yield. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 5+ years in Manufacturing Quality or related hardware production roles; 3+ years leading teams or owning major cross-functional quality initiatives; strong experience with inspection, NCR/MRB, CAPA, RCA workflows; ability to interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and CAD models; experience in high-complexity or high-reliability industries (aerospace, defense, electronics/PCBA). Desired qualifications include AS9100/ISO 9001 experience, startup/high-growth quality system scaling, IPC standards familiarity, advanced quality methods (SPC, DOE, PFMEA, APQP), supplier quality experience (SCARs, FAI/PPAP, vendor audits), and regulated/mission-critical program support.
