The Quality Assurance Director for Apparel leads comprehensive QA strategy and execution across men's and women's apparel categories. This role reports to the VP of Quality and holds ultimate responsibility for protecting product integrity and brand reputation across global markets. Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and overseeing QA strategy across all apparel product lines, ensuring consistency with design intent, quality standards, safety, construction, and regulatory compliance across global markets
- Establishing strategic quality goals and proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks
- Implementing advanced testing protocols and inspection processes for fabric, textiles, and finished goods
- Partnering with Executive Leadership, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Product Development to align quality objectives with business strategy
- Leading continuous quality improvement initiatives across manufacturing partners and internal teams
- Managing large-scale, global quality programs and establishing best practices
- Ensuring compliance with international regulatory standards and safety requirements
The ideal candidate brings strategic leadership combined with deep technical expertise in apparel quality control, including fabric and textile performance, regulatory compliance, advanced inspection methodologies, and a proven track record managing enterprise-scale quality programs. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both operational excellence and cross-functional partnership.
